Who is responsible for your information
Robert Campbell trading as RMC Digital Projects is the data controller for project enquiries sent through this website.
What I collect
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, what you hope to build and the current stage of your idea. You may also choose to share your business or organisation, intended audience, timing and a rough budget range.
Please do not include special-category personal information, confidential customer records or passwords in the form.
Why I use it and the lawful basis
I use enquiry information to understand your request, reply, decide whether I can help and take steps you ask for before a possible contract. The lawful bases are steps at your request before entering a contract and my legitimate interests in responding to genuine business enquiries and keeping an appropriate record of that conversation.
I do not use enquiry details for an automatic mailing list, sell them or use them for automated decision-making.
Service providers and where information goes
Netlify hosts this website and processes form submissions on my behalf. Submission notifications are delivered to the RMC Digital Projects mailbox provided through Fasthosts. These providers process information under their own security and data-processing arrangements.
This website currently does not use analytics, advertising trackers or non-essential cookies.
How long I keep enquiry information
If an enquiry does not become a client project, I keep the enquiry and related correspondence for up to 12 months after the last contact, then delete it unless there is a legal or dispute-related reason to retain it. Records for accepted client work follow the separately established business-record policy.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a copy in a portable format. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
See the ICO complaints guidance.
How to contact me
For a privacy question or rights request, email hello@rmcdigitalprojects.com. A business correspondence address will also be published here before the website goes live.
